Nina’s Tacos & Tequila

Bozeman, MT

Tasty Mexican cuisine is tough to find in Montana unless you know the guy that knows a guy. That’s not the case at Nina’s Tacos & Tequila, the latest project in chef/owners Joe and Meg Romano. The food is definitely delicious, but the handpicked selection of over 100 different varieties of tequila and mezcal is second to none in the entire state of Montana.

Their meticulous attention to detail shows with every dish (we love the carnitas tacos), but you could not go wrong with some Nachos (a crowd pleaser and my wife’s favorite). Order a couple of Margaritas and get them with the scraped ice for a throwback to a childhood summer. A great way to try a variety of tequilas is to go for their monthly Mexican Flight, a 1/2 ounce pour of four different spirits, handpicked by Joe himself.

If you are a tequila and mezcal lover, there is definitely no better place for you in the entire state of Montana.

Local’s Tip:

Though the nachos are a guaranteed crowd-pleaser, their Pozole is a little hidden gem of flavor for anyone looking for straight out of Mexico deliciousness.

Roost

Bozeman, MT

Good fried chicken isn’t something you find easily in Montana. Fortunately, there’s Roost Fried Chicken, a casual Southern-style fried chicken establishment started by two good ole Tennessee boys who loved everything about Montana, except for the lack of good fried chicken. Located just across the street from the high school, Roost is housed inside a renovated old Main Street barn.

If partaking in Korporate Fried Chicken os your thing, get ready to have an out-of-body experience. Order a whole bucket of fried chicken, complete with outstanding Southern classic sides like fried okra, mashed potatoes or house-made mac & cheese. However, if you want your mind blown, get the chicken and waffles; it is a crowd-pleaser for kids and adults alike.

We think you will love Roost Fried Chicken if you want to experience a Southern meal with the family.

Local’s Tip:

If you are still having difficulty figuring out what you want to eat, get their chicken on a stick. It’s an excellent choice to dip the toe plus it comes with a warm biscuit For you TO spread butter and honey on.

copper

Bozeman & big sky, MT

Every small town has a bar and if that bar’s worth a nickel, it’s got good whiskey. At Copper, we’ve got whiskey for every occasion and no shortage of the town’s best eats. Get to know the bartender, and all the regulars too, cause the bar stories are good. Supper is always your favorite, cause we know you that well.

Come for the food, stay for the whiskey. At Copper, we strive to collect rare whiskies from all over the world. These hard to find spirits are available for sippin’, specialty cocktails and whiskey flights.

Tanglewood

Bozeman, MT

A community-focused, casual restaurant that offers a thoughtful yet simple menu in a relaxed environment. We find the best ingredients and create dishes that excite. We believe exceptional food should be simple and accessible, not fussy and formal.

We find joy in preparing phenomenal meals for people who love and care about food as much as we do in a refined-rustic environment with a whimsical flair.

Burger bob’s

Bozeman, MT

Burger Bob's first opened in April of 1994 and has since been providing quality food products from the best local distributors in the Gallatin Valley.

At The Cannery & Burger Bob's, we provide fast, friendly, & courteous service at fair prices. If for any reason we fail to live up to this promise PLEASE don't tell anyone! We are a semi-classy eating establishment with dishwater coffee & questionable atmosphere.

dave’s sushi

Bozeman, MT

In early 2002, Dave (a software engineer) made a joke that he needed to start a sushi restaurant to feed his own addiction. On June 26th of that year, Dave sold his first sushi roll out of a small corner of a fish market. By February 20th, 2003, the fish market had moved out, Dave took over the lease, and Dave's Sushi was born. That restaurant is now Bozeman's favorite laid back local sushi joint.

If you're looking for plush modern trimmings and post - modern art hanging from the walls, this ain't your place. We're about amazingly fresh sushi and a friendly atmosphere modeled after the "hang-loose" style of Hawaii. So please check out our menu and stop on in to our place just a couple blocks from downtown Bozeman.
